About Us

Hi, I’m Margaret Roche, I founded Roche Dietitians over 30 years ago.  Since then we have been doing what dietitians do, and dietitians do some pretty cool stuff.  We have been using our unique qualifications and skills to:

  • Translate the science of nutrition and health into food, nutrition and lifestyle approaches for disease management and wellness

  • Create nutritionally sound menus, write therapeutic diets and calculate the nutritional value of recipes.

  • Advise on the business and management of healthcare food service

  • Train, educate, mentor, build teams and foster change.

Right from the outset, we dedicated ourselves to bring the best to our clients.  We stay abreast of the latest nutrition research and professional standards of practice, so our work is evidence based and on the cutting edge.  We are constantly challenging ourselves to build on our successes and learn from our failures. That way, we are always growing.  And after 30 years, I am proud to say that the result has been an innovative, effective approach to meeting our clients’ needs that surpasses industry norms

Over the past several years, we have studied a lot about IDDSI because it’s a major shift in the world of therapeutic diets. We’ve trained thousands of people on IDDSI standards and have been called on to share our IDDSI expertise. We’re doing that for providers like hospitals, long term care facilities, and manufacturers — and we would love to help you take the next step in your IDDSI journey.

Our Team

I invite smart dietitians to be on our team.  All are advanced practice dietitians with master’s degrees, specialty certifications or other special skills like chef credentials.  But smarts aren’t everything.  Attitude and outlook matters.  We get that.  We’re pleasant to work with.  Our work sometimes involves change, healthcare can be serious, but we don’t add to the pressure. We’re enthusiastic, we like people.  We’re flexible and our clients trust us.
